PHARMAPLANT Arznei- und Gewürzpflanzen Forschungs- und Saatzucht GmbH is a modern research, development and consulting company in the field of production, breeding and cultivation of aromatic and medicinal plants. In addition, PHARMAPLANT is a research service provider for the development and optimisation of cultivation techniques and systems to sustainably secure the supply chains of plant-based raw materials for our customers. PHARMAPLANT has more than 90 years of research experience. Experimental work is carried out by an interdisciplinary team in a high-tech laboratory and a greenhouse and field area with specialised equipment for experimental field trials. An in vitro laboratory and a phytotron are the highlights of our research approach. As part of the nature network, we have access to a wide range of laboratory, consultancy, production and distribution services for plant-based products and value-added services.
Role in the project
Our company has over 90 years of experience in medicinal and aromatic plants. As our customers are both growers and processors, we can bridge the gap to make the results relevant to specific target audiences. We can also provide insights into practical challenges and solutions to bring business and science closer together.
Anna Kodisch
Within the company, I am involved in a number of weed control projects. As a member of the Management Committee, I will play a coordinating role for Germany and try to bring together the results and efforts.
