Grants
Within COST Action, there are several grants to facilitate and support capacity building, research networking, collaboration and knowledge exchange.
STSM Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) enable researchers and innovators to visit partner institutions, exchange knowledge, and develop new collaborations across countries. STSMs strengthen capacity building, accelerate scientific progress, and provide participants with practical experience, networking opportunities, and long-term research partnerships.
ITC Conference Grants support researchers and innovators from Inclusiveness Target Countries in attending international conferences and presenting their work. These grants enhance visibility, strengthen networking opportunities, promote scientific excellence, and foster greater inclusion and collaboration across the COST network.
Dissemination Conference Grants support participants in presenting Action-related research and outcomes at high-level international conferences. These grants increase the visibility of the Action, promote knowledge transfer, strengthen networking opportunities, and help expand the impact of collaborative results to wider scientific and stakeholder communities.
Virtual Mobility enables participants to collaborate remotely with institutions and researchers in other countries through online research activities and knowledge exchange. It supports inclusive participation, strengthens international cooperation, builds new skills, and allows wider engagement regardless of travel limitations or geographical barriers.
Young Researcher and Innovator Conference Grants support early-career participants in attending international conferences and presenting their research and innovation activities. These grants enhance professional development, increase scientific visibility, strengthen networking opportunities, and encourage the active involvement of the next generation of researchers and innovators in the COST community.
