Role in the project

Kaçan Koray and Nazan Demir

The researchers support the project objectives through research, analysis and networking with farmers' associations, promoting scientific development and collaboration for knowledge transfer and sustainable cooperation across Europe.
The researchers will contribute to the development and promotion of non-chemical weed management for aromatic and medicinal plants, using field studies and scientific methods to build a common knowledge base. They help to build a network to optimise weed control systems that enhance biodiversity and sustainability.
The researchers include advancing weed control technologies (working group 2), publishing trial results to support international research (working group 3), and developing strategies to reduce chemical weed control (working group 4), where they also serve as deputy leaders and steering committee members.
