The two-day event started on May 14 with an morning field trip. The participants were taken on a walk through the city of Krakow, to be introduced with the history of the town, and get to know each other. Following a lunch break, the afternoon sessions moved indoors to the Krakowski Coworking venue on the city's historic main square.
Tadeusz Pęczek and Paweł Sobczyk opened the conference with an introduction on behalf of ProC. The core of the afternoon featured ten distinct research presentations focused on Task 4.2 of the project. Experts including Dragana Božić, Nuray Çiçek, and Cai Xiang shared their latest findings. Alessandra Carrubba, Roberto Carbone, and Thomas Gitospoulos also presented their data.
The presentation session concluded with insights from Arben Mehmeti, Hülya Ünlü, Liliana Vargas-Murga, and Theo Zacharis. These diverse presentations highlighted different regional approaches to mapping weeds. The first day concluded with final remarks and an evening group dinner at the Dobra Kasza Nasza Restaurant.
On May 15, the work continued back at the conference venue. The morning began with a comprehensive recap of the first day's presentations. Attendees discussed how to integrate the various data models. After a final coffee break, the workshop concluded with closing remarks and a final meeting wrap-up. This workshop strengthens international collaboration to improve smart farming tools.
