Iteipmai, National French Institute of Medicinals, Aromatics and Perfumes Plants

Iteipmai is a technical institute accredited by the Ministry of Agriculture. It carries out applied research for the aromatic, medicinal and perfume plants sector.  Its mission is to create varieties adapted to climate change and market needs, work on crop protection, and develop new technical itineraries. Iteipmai conducts phytochemical analyses of plant extracts and contributes to the development of associated regulations and standards. Iteipmai collaborates on national and international projects with public and private partners.

Role in the project

Magali Pellisier and Benjamin Lemaire

Benjamin is the coordinator of an experimental station at Iteipmai. He manages various research projects focusing on the adaptation and development of new crop itineraries. Through these projects, he has developed expertise in agronomy and agri-equipment, as well as the transformation of MAPs.

Magali is responsible for developing national and European research projects. She has a cross-cutting view of MAP production (genetics, crop protection, phytochemical analysis, etc.). Benjamin and Magali will share their expertise on weed management in MAPs through their involvement in Working Groups 3 and 1.
